Word Bloom · Bayline Digital Inc.

Privacy policy

Effective October 27, 2026

Word Bloom and wordbloomapp.app are owned and operated by Bayline Digital Inc. (“Bayline Digital,” “we,” or “us”). Our company website is baylinedigital.com. Contact us at contact@baylinedigital.com.

Some optional services may be unavailable in preview or test builds.

1. Your game data

Word Bloom saves your progress on your device: completed puzzles, stars, garden items, seed balance, the current puzzle, tutorial progress, and settings. It also keeps purchase records, including transaction and product identifiers, quantities, dates, and refund status, to apply purchases once and maintain your seed balance.

You do not need a separate Word Bloom account. Bayline Digital does not operate a separate server that collects your game saves, and we have not added a separate analytics service to the app or this website. Optional services described below still process information when you use them.

2. Optional Game Center and iCloud saves

If you connect Game Center, the app can receive your Game Center player identifier and display name. With the required Apple services enabled, it can save progress, garden items, seed balances, purchase records, and unfinished puzzles through Apple’s GameKit and iCloud services so you can continue on another compatible device.

Pausing sync stops future syncing; it does not automatically delete an existing cloud save. Apple manages your Apple account and its services under its own terms and privacy information. See Apple’s Game Center privacy information. These services may be disabled in development builds.

3. Purchases

Apple processes in-app payments. Word Bloom uses verified transaction information to grant purchases, restore eligible entitlements, and handle refunds or revocations. Bayline Digital does not receive your full payment-card or bank-account details. Apple retains its own purchase records. See Apple’s App Store privacy information.

4. Advertising and your choices

The app is being prepared to use Google AdMob for ads between some levels and optional rewarded videos. Word Bloom requests non-personalized ads. Non-personalized does not mean no data is processed: Google may process IP addresses and approximate location, device and app identifiers, ad views and interactions, and diagnostic or performance information for ad delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention.

Where required, Google’s consent tools present privacy choices before ads are requested. You can revisit available choices through Settings → Ad privacy choices. A valid permanent ad-removal purchase stops future ad requests from Word Bloom; it does not delete information already held by Google.

For more information, read Google’s Privacy Policy, how Google uses information from apps that use its services, and Google Mobile Ads SDK data disclosures.

5. Reminders, clipboard, and beta feedback

Daily reminders are optional local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. They do not require a Bayline Digital push-notification server. You can change notification permissions in iOS Settings.

Copy puzzle details places puzzle context on your clipboard. Copying alone does not send a report to us. You choose whether and where to paste or submit it.

During TestFlight testing, Apple automatically collects certain crash and usage information and shares it with the developer. If you choose to submit feedback, it may include your comments, screenshots, device and build information, and your name or email depending on the invitation and report. We use beta information to investigate problems and improve the game. See Apple’s TestFlight privacy information.

6. Website and support

This website is hosted on Vercel. Hosting and security systems may process standard request information such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser or device information, and security logs. See Vercel’s Privacy Notice. We have not installed website analytics, advertising scripts, external fonts, or a contact-form backend.

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you send. We use it to respond, provide support, and resolve the issue. Please avoid sending passwords, full payment details, or unnecessary personal information.

7. Retention and security

Local game information stays on your device until it is changed or removed. “Start a fresh garden” resets flowers, stars, and the current puzzle while preserving your seed balance and purchase records. Uninstalling removes local app data; Apple purchase records and separate iCloud data are managed through Apple.

We retain support correspondence as needed for its purpose and for security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. Apple, Google, Vercel, and other service providers apply their own retention practices. Providers may process information outside your country. We use the protections of the operating system and the services we select, but no system can guarantee complete security.

8. Your choices and rights

You can manage reminders in iOS Settings, use available ad privacy choices, pause cloud syncing, and manage Apple services through your Apple account. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator.

Contact us to make a privacy request. We may need to verify the request. We cannot directly delete records controlled independently by Apple or Google and may direct you to the relevant provider. Do not send passwords or full payment information.

9. Children and changes

Parents and guardians should review the app and supervise purchases and online-service choices as appropriate. If you believe a child provided personal information to us without required permission, contact us so we can investigate and address it.

We may update this policy as the app and services change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required.
